We took a family adventure today to a new place in CO….Wellington Lake. Stunning scenery, under 2 hour drive (much of which was pretty full of dirt roads covered in pot holes!!), pristine water, and tons of fun!
Seeing signs regarding bears and mountain lions literally every 2 feet was slightly nerve-wracking, but we took a short hike up to a waterfall, then played in the lake until the monsoon/thunder/rain rolled in…..so beautiful!!!
3 things knocked off our 2017 bucket list:
-See a waterfall
-Swim in a mountain lake
-Explore a new lake in CO
