Christmas day brought all kinds of new presents from cap guns to baby carriers, kitchens, legos, power scooters, clothes, uniforms, sewing machines, laser tag, games and more.

When I asked Taina what her favorite present was, she said “GIVING.”

Wow!!!

I know where that answer came from.

Laura had bought necessities and made special packages for the homeless, arranged to meet/buy clothes for two Burma refugee families, and dropped off Christmas cookies and donations to a women and children’s shelter with all the kids, and baked a TON of cookies for delivery to lots of neighbors…hopefully these lessons will ‘stick’!
