Day Two In London

Today we went to the Greenwich market, observatory and maritime museum.

The boys were fascinated with reading and seeing all the naval battle and Royal navy history…

“Some of the most notorious sea battles, including the full stories behind Elizabeth I’s assault on the Spanish Armada and Nelson’s victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. Plus, discover fascinating facts about the Royal Navy and Britain’s coastal defenses.”

Then we wandered up the hill from the museum and had only about 30 minutes to make it through Observatory.

This is where the prime meridian line was established, separating western and eastern hemispheres, and where all time for the world starts…Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

The last picture below is Andres, asleep on his bed while writing in his travel journal for the day.
