This is where we stayed in Monterde (the CPI Spanish Immersion School), some of the views from around town and the drive up and down.

We had a great time eating at our new favorite restaurant twice in a row for dinner (Sabot Tico), visiting the Herpetarium (snakes, lizards, frogs, etc.), getting snacks at Stella’s Bakery (running into Magdalena who owns the home we are renting next near La Fortuna/Lake Arenal)  and climbing a huge and hollow ficus tree.
