Ouray is called the Switzerland of America because it is so gorgeous!

We camped up off Lake Ridgway, went swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking on the lake and hiked up in the mountains around Ouray over canyons through tunnels and down at the bottom of the gorge.

The highlight of the trip had to be when Jasmine was swept out into the middle of the lake on her paddleboard by the wind and daddy had to go rescue her in a half-inflated kyack because we didn’t have the right pump for it.
