A random Saturday night when I was making a nice dinner, and the kids had the idea to dress up and start dancing. As mom, I struggle with wanting to tell them ‘no’ (mainly b/c of all the extra laundry!!) but thankfully the ‘these-moments-will-be-gone-before-i-know-it’ side of me won out, and they danced, practiced the waltz (they had no idea what they were doing and neither Daddy nor I could provide ANY help in that department), and had an awesome time. Best of all?? I got to watch my sons practice amazingly gentlemanly behavior – pulling out the chairs for the girls, filling their cups, offering to get them whatever they needed (granted, Andres referred to Taina as his ‘Maid’….not in the ‘clean-my-house’ sense, but we are slightly viking-obsessed at the moment)…and ZERO name-calling or teasing! BOOM!!! I will happily do the extra laundry!
