During these times of the coronavirus, Laura came up with the idea to write down a list of all kinds of things we could do at home or out in nature with safe social-distancing… keeping everyone entertained with their minds and bodies engaged.

After a whole jar full of ideas…the first one selected for a trial run was a baking contest.

Other ideas included bible studies, hikes, speed challenges, riding the horses, etc.

As for the baking contest, three teams were formed: Marcos, Taina & Yvelore and then Jasmine.

Marcos made a great vanilla cake with vanilla frosting.

Taina and Yvelore made chocolate brownies with caramel frosting.

Jasmine made biscotti that is great for dunking.

Jasmine came in first for the “Best Dunking” award.

Taina & Yvelore came in first for the “Most Moist” award.

And Marcos took home the grand prize for the overall winner.

Way to go contestants!

The most important thing was that they had fun doing it.
