This was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Costa Rica.
It was near the border to Nicaragua, on a river, invested with alligators…and the mosquitos were everywhere. To top it off our rooms were open to the elements from the slits in the floorboards.
But what beauty. We saw so much wildlife. Birds. Monkeys. Alligators. Iguanas.
